Welcome to MeeTor, a lightweight BitTorrent client for MeeGo phones (Nokia N9 / N950)
First of all, thank you for purchasing MeeTor.
This is the support webpage for the application.
Please post any issues you might have with this application as a comment below, and I will try to solve it and reply to you here.

        Hi,

        The *.torrent you are trying to add is too big (15.7 GB).
        I will add error messages to explicitly inform the user of these situations in the next release of MeeTor.
        Try adding a smaller *.torrent file from the same website and see if it succeeds. Please let me know how it goes.

        Symtorrent does not work under Symbian Anna or Belle. I’d like to see a version of Meetor for Symbian as well.

        You should contact developers of program SymTorrent and to write to them let will make updating for yours OS.
        Program MeeTor and its founders have no relation to SymTorrent!

        Hi,

        There will be a new version (0.0.2) in OVI store. It is now undergoing QA approval and should be availabe in no more than a week. The new version improves tracker issues a bit (but there are still problems). I was able to connect & start downloading from rutracker.org 20% of the time.

    I have contacted managers of Russian http://rutracker.org! Here that they have written to me:
    The torrent-client periodically contacts rutracker (at us – time at an o’clock on each distribution). Thus he should send on rutracker the certain information. What exactly – look under the reference in the previous message.
    Obvious points – rutracker address, passkey the user, info-hesh of distribution, the identifier of the client, number of port. Etc.
    In exchange – will receive the list of feasts.
    If the form of inquiry is wrong – in exchange the client will receive an error message.

    Please release a symbian version. Symtorrent doesn’t work with S^3 and above. The developers have abandoned the project and made it open source. Thanks.

    it does not work at all.. all downloads stay in ‘searching’ status at 0B/s
    all torrents from P-bay

    It stayed at ‘searching’ for a long time. After that I can see ‘warming up’. But stays there.

    Добрый день! Сделайте новое обновление для MeeTor, нужно что бы программа качала из большого списка только нужные несколько файлов! Например: я хочу скопировать из целого списка файлов только 2 файла! Как мне это сделать? Спасибо.

    Hi.The downloading finished but I could not find the file anywhere. The destination folder is /home/user but there is no file. any ideas

      Hi,

      To open the downloaded torrent files use an external 3rd party file explorer app (like FileBox). The file explorer within MeeTor sometimes does not see newlly added files (especially if the phone is connected via USB to a computer) and also can not open any files.

    the app does not work on my n9. it opened twice but it then crashed and has not opened since then. can’t get it to open. this is now a month in to it. removed it and the reinstalled but no avail.

    when are you going to get magnet support? so far i have been unable to go to any torrent site on my phone and successfully download a single file.

    Спасибо,прекрасная программа, но прчему-то иногда просто не качает. Висит “connecting” и ничено не происходит. Можно как-то поправить этот баг?

    Спасибо за программу, но есть один баг: при добавлении нового торрента она не качает его. Пишет “connecting”, но дальше ничего не происходит. Перезагрузка программы\телефона ни к чему не приводят.
    Возможно устранить этот баг?

    I have put it on 2 N9’s and it doesn’t work properly. I have left it on for days and recieved NOTHING! Waste of money. Very disappointed.
